Oops...
There are two kinds of perk point system - a central one like in Dead Cells, where every character benefits from unlocks of any other previous run, OR much like StS keep upgrades tied to the character.
Up to v1.3.0 I used a central perk point tally. This means that any first run after some runs by other characters would start you at zero, and any subsequent run with that character would give a huge jump into many upgraded letters. I don't think that feels natural.
As a consequence, each Character box will have a copy of their scoring sheet, and be particular to that character's unlocks. This simplifies difficulty tables, and would work for the first 50 letter cards (50 points, 50 upgrades).
Maybe a fourth, core box scoring sheet for any points over that, say Paragon system? Any such paragon points would go toward upgrading your starter cards (any character).
